Do you have a private room for more intimate tattoos and piercings?

We can offer private rooms at the studio upon request for more intimate tattoos or client preferences. For piercings we allow a plus one to attend however for tattoos we ask that you come alone. Please note that we are currently not offering male genital or snake eyes piercings.

What can I expect when arriving at the studio?

We ask you arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment time, please head to reception to fill out a consent form.

How do I prepare for and look after my tattoo?

it is really important to prepare yourself mentally and physically for your tattoo. Make sure you've had plenty of water, eaten a decent meal and had a good sleep beforehand. Loose clothing will be your best friend too! We will provide full aftercare advise after your appointment and give you a copy in writing. We want your new tattoo to heal nicely to achieve the best results and it is your responsibility to ensure you follow our advise. We are always available to answer any queries you may have during the healing process.

How do i prepare for and look after my piercing?

Make sure you have eaten and bring a sugary drink with you. Your piercer will provide you with all the aftercare information you need but you can also message Toyah privately if you have any queries during your healing process

What is the minimum age that you will tattoo?

18 years old and you must have photo I.D with you on the day.

What is the minuimum age that you will pierce?

3+years : Lobes

13+ : Ear (helix, forward helix, conch, tragus, anti tragus, rook, scapha, daith only) Nose. Septum. Eyebrow

16+ : Scaffold. Transverse lobe. Lip. Bridge. Navel. Surface piercing.

18+ : Tongue. Smiley. Cheek. Dermal. Nipple. Hood. Christina

Under 16s need a parent to be present. 16-18s need photo I.D or a parent present

Can you create a custom piece for me?

Yes! Misty Rose Tattoo is first and foremost a custom design tattoo studio. We encourage customers to share their ideas which we then work on and refine throughout the consultation.

How much is a deposit and what does it entail?

A 50% deposit is required to be paid upon all bookings. The deposit is to secure the date and time that you have chosen with your preferred artist. Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
